Workmanship

Master Plumbers, Gasfitters & Drainlayers NZ Inc (Master Plumbers) provides a 12-month Master Guarantee (the Guarantee) to our clients for: 

a) Protection of Advance Payments, and; 

b) Protection against Substandard Workmanship.   

The Master Plumbers Guarantee applies only to residential work carried out by us.  Please contact us if you would like a copy of the policy and terms and conditions of the Master Plumbers Guarantee or if you require a Master Plumbers Workmanship Certificate at completion of your job. 

Non-residential work completed by us is also covered by our own 12 month guarantee against faulty workmanship when it comes to new installations.  

Materials

All new materials supplied by West Coast Plumbing Ltd will be covered by the individual manufacturers’ warranties honoured by our merchant suppliers.  In the event of a material defect we will work with directly with the supplier and/or the product manufacturer to remedy the issue.

We reserve the right to decline to install second hand or sub-par materials supplied by the client.  Our workmanship guarantee is not valid for work completed with second hand or sub-par materials. 

Guarantee

Please contact us immediately if you identify any sort of problem so we can work together to rectify the issue as soon as possible.  

In the unlikely event that there is an issue during the Guarantee period one of our plumbers / gas-fitters / drain layers will attend the site to investigate the problem, and we will communicate with you the findings and sort out a resolution as quickly as possible.

It’s also very important that no one tampers with any of our work.  If this occurs, then any guarantee could be null and void.
